Safeway raises £10,000 for Y Care International’s work with street children

Retail chain Safeway’s month-long fundraising drive for Y Care International, the international relief and development agency of the YMCA in the UK and Ireland, has raised just over £10,000.

Safeway stores across England and Wales displayed collecting tins and posters at the end of last year, in a bid to raise money for and awareness of Y Care International’s work with street children in the developing world.
