Our beliefs

Y Care International believes that every young person has a right to:

• healthy physical development - so we support health promotion and HIV/AIDS programmes
• protection from the impact of natural and human-made disasters and emergencies - so we support emergency relief and rehabilitation programmes
• live in peace and security – so we support post-conflict programmes and community building
• participate actively in the life of their community – so we support youth citizenship and youth justice programmes, and engage in strengthening youth serving organisations
• earn a livelihood for themselves and their families – so we support life skills and livelihood development programmes
