Photo gallery: Tsunami relief work, Sri Lanka

Matara, a small Sri Lankan coastal town, was devastated by the Tsunami in 2004. In January 2006, residents are being housed in temporary camps while awaiting permanent accommodation. The YMCA of Matara, with support from Y Care International, has been building new homes for the people of Matara, helping school children with provision of educational resources and setting up trauma counselling services for those traumatised by the disaster.
