How you’ve helped the people of Pakistan
Together, we're supporting flood-affected communities
Y Care International is currently supporting flood-affected communities in Pakistan, giving young people skills to rebuild their communities.
Young people in Pakistan often lack the training and skills necessary to enter the workforce and so struggle to find employment. With 27 per cent of the country's 184 million population aged between 15-29, supporting the country's young people is essential.
Pakistan is also prone to disasters such as floods and earthquakes, meaning that basic health, education and housing infrastructures are not in place.
Y Care International currently partners with the ACT Alliance in Pakistan and in 2010 Y Care International launched an emergency appeal to support flood-affected communities in Pakistan, with donations channelled through the ACT Alliance member, Church World Service.
