Young campaigner, Aubrey Rangata, shared his experiences of carrying out research for the campaign. He also spoke about the many challenges facing young people who come into conflict with the law around the world.

In Durban, a drama group performed a visual representation of the messages behind Youth Justice in Action.

Ten young people from each of the events have been selected to carry out a piece of youth-led research looking at how well South Africa is doing in meeting the recommendations of the UN Resolution on Juvenile Justice

Event organiser, Mbuso Mthembu, said the events “allowed valuable insight into youths' experiences and understanding of youth justice”.
