Vote Global Manifesto

15 April 2010

In preparation for the upcoming General Election, Y Care International has joined other NGOs in signing BOND’s* ‘Vote Global’ Manifesto to ensure that the next UK Government will push forward Britain’s commitment to fighting global poverty.

Vote Global Manifesto

The Vote Global Manifesto is a powerful set of demands around international development. It asks whoever is next in power to deliver on the commitments the UK has already made to eradicating poverty through the Millennium Development Goals.

The demands include tackling climate change, responding to conflicts and making the global financial system work for the world’s poor. It has already been endorsed by more than 150 organisations.

To find out more about how you can get involved, visit the Vote Global website at: www.voteglobal.org.uk where you can join in on the latest actions. With a large number of new MPs likely to be elected in the upcoming election, it’s crucial that you show them that global poverty is an election issue.
