The Youth Justice in Action campaign will host six Solidarity Days. These days will bring young people together from six countries to mark a day in solidarity with each other.

The first Solidarity Day is on Friday 12th September 2008 to focus on Honduras.

In Honduras young people will be marching in Tegucigalpa to protest against the murders and violence inflicted on young people in the country. In other campaign countries, young people will get together in solidarity to learn about the issues that affect their peers in Honduras.

They will take action by writing, painting and drawing their messages on action cards that call on the UN to make youth justice a reality for young people everywhere.

A resource which highlights youth justice issues in Honduras has been produced. The resource includes an activity to do with young people to help them reflect on and learn about the issues.
