Campaign report launched in Sierra Leone

The Youth Justice in Action Sierra Leone campaign report has been launched in Freetown.

On February 20th, Y Care International's campaign partner, YMCA Sierra Leone, together with Defense for Children International, launched the campaign report with key stakeholders, including representatives from the Ministry of Social Welfare and Ministry of Justice.

The programme included a presentation on children's rights in juvenile justice and an overview of the campaign. The event was chaired by the Chair of the Human Rights Commission, and concluded with the official launch of the campaign report by Mr. Kekura Bangura, a senior Legal Practitioner working with Sierra Leone's Attorney General.
