Emergency relief and rehabilitation
At times of emergency and natural disaster, Y Care International undertakes relief, reconstruction and rehabilitation work through local YMCAs
The needs and rights of disadvantaged young people in developing countries are too often neglected. They often have few opportunities, and making the transition into adulthood can be difficult. Our work helps young people develop alternatives to a future of poverty and lack of opportunity and encourages them to contribute to the development of their own communities. By working in partnership with YMCAs in the developing world we ensure that we work with local communities on long-term, sustainable projects.
